Construction Fire Hazard

FERMI ltd are the UK leading consultancy in the field of fire risk during timber frame construction and have completed more than a hundred successful timber frame projects, including many on enclosed sites that were of significant concern to regulators.

We are working with the UK TFA, the Fire Service, HSE and Principal Contractors to develop strategies for risk reduction during construction.

FERMI have developed the FERMI RT (copyright 2010) software to enable the quantification and acceptable mitigation of fire spread risk, and are currently working with the UK TFA and HSE on testing programmes and the provision of guidance for designers and contractors.

We have also completed construction fire strategies on major infrastructure projects including power plants, wind farms and rail tunnels.
